Administration of arrogance
By RWBarker 3\25\06
Eureka Ca.
Our president announced that he will let another future president pull out
troops out of Iraq, in other word three more years at least of this quagmire
called Iraq. One more disdain of American democracy, in a long list of
arrogant displays by the current administration.
An Iraqi child on our Television screens sits dangling an appendage that was
once an arm, an American GI tells of his loss of limbs and the neglect he
suffers from by the US governments Veterans benefits. Bombs go off and kill
many daily, yet we see no real improvement in the terror that grips the country
we ostensibly liberated. Services continue to be sparse and erratic in Iraq,
electricity goes off at the most inconvenient times, water supply changes and
trash pick up is sporadic.
Murder on the streets of Baghdad becomes more sectarian and focused on
religious differences, and Iraq appears to be in the dawn of civil war. Billions
of dollars pour into Iraq daily but we see few positive results or progress
in this arrogant "Bring em on" war designed by the Bush cartel to the positive
enrichment of War contractors and oil barrens.
Yet with alll this obvious evidence for failure Bush announced this week
that some future president will have to pull out of Iraq.
"Bring em on," Bush said in an arrogant display of bravado with others
lives and money on the line.
I was appalled at the lack of personal responsibility for our peoples lives
he displayed. We watched in shock and slack jaw, not Awe, as Bush called the
terrorist out with our peoples blood and our tax dollars, while he sat
safely in his office or vacationed at his Texas ranch.
We shrugged as Bush pulled out of nuclear proliferation treaties and other
peace arrangements to pursue the new Arms race with one viable participant,
America
Our nation watched as Bush arrogantly walked out on that aircraft carrier
with his cocky school boy bully swagger and told us "Mission accomplished."
"What mission accomplished?
I asked myself this simple question as I watched his ego driven display of
hubris unfold and the death march plays on in Iraq.
We saw the Bush arrogance in the aftermath of Katrina as he played Golf and
ignored the situation, then complimented Mr. Brown for a job well done.
We watched as Bush Supreme, CT picks made even the Republicans blanche, as
he picked his personal secretary and attorney for a Supreme, CT seat. No
political experience, no judicial experience, however she is a lawyer with one
exclusive practice the Bush family. The outright hubris and arrogance it must
take to disdain the Supreme, CT. position so blatantly, no president ever held
the Court in such low regard.
Our mouths dropped open when the Bush Administration announced that the
Port authority in at least six ports was to be handed over to the Dubai
government, the same guys that four years ago were backing Al Quada and recognized
the Taliban.
What gall it takes to feed the fear factor unashamedly and then wonder why
his people are against the Dubai acquisition.
Our government under Bush has covered up so much it left very little out in
the open. The editing and changing of the environmental global warming
reports by NASA scientist left us in the dark about the negative effects of the
green house gases that are causing our Earth to warm up.
The outright hubris it takes to change information that prepares the nation
for this reality is tantamount to treason. Global warming does not help the
oil industries profits or make his friends more wealthy. In fact, it distracts
from energy profits so they were covered up and changed for the oil industry
to continue to reap maximum profits.
Our Constitution is the bases for our laws and liberties, and Bush swore an
oath in his inauguration to protect and defend this sacred document, instead
he called it: "Just a piece of paper." Bush thinks our founding fathers words
were just paper and the American law is his to break, can we say maximum
arrogance.
The deeply dark Bush administration has starated secret prisons in other
countries, tortured and denied rights to the people they retain, all in the
name of security, a cover up for arrogance.
President Bush openly defies the FISA or the Foreign Intelligence
Surveillance Act of 1978, requiring a court approved warrant before wire taps or
surveillance of Americans can occur.
Our Fourth Amendment rights and free speech has been under attack by the
Bush arrogance team. People arrested at public tax payer supported events for
the T shirt they wear, or their differing opinions.
The Bush cartel encourages the outsourcing of American jobs, gives tax
breaks for leaving instead of staying. In other words Bush rewards companies that
go off shore and punishes those that stay and pay taxes.
King Bush has literally bankrupted the government and borrows from China
like there is no tomorrow, leaving a deficit so large the US may always be in
debt.
Monarch of greed Bush out spent every previous president and never
appoligizes but brags of his accomplishments.
Arrogance runs the current administration, we see they have no respect for
our laws or customs our economy nor our people, only one thing seems to
matter to these corporate criminals, private profits for the energy industry.
Who Profit$ Most?
The Saudis, OPEC, Halliburton, Bush families Carlyle Group, Exxon and the
entire energy industry are the benefactors of this Administration of
arrogance, the American people are the big losers in this game of greed. Arrogance is
so rampant that they no longer deny breaking the law nor care that they
circumvent the Constitution.
New heights of arrogance are reached daily.
This week, I watched the most arrogant act so far in this Administration of
Arrogance, the President announced that it will have to be some other
president to pull out troops from Iraq. In other words we are there as long as
he is president.
Billions lost weekly, lies as justification for war, spying on Americans and
now this?
King Bush has just surpassed the powers of his office, left congress in
ineffective apathy and damaged the concept of checks and balance in the entire
system.Arrogance runs this administration, Greed is its policy, death is its
resulting outcome and tryranny in the name of security its goals.
America we are under the gun of true fascist and the lies hubris and out
right greed are the strong evidence for treason.
We must ask ourselves is this the kind of America we belive in?
